BEGE Expo was held on 4 – 6 October in Sofia and for the third year once again became a meeting point for exhibitors, operators, experts and visitors from Europe, USA, Asia and Eastern Europe. This year at the Exhibition took part 52 companies from Bulgaria, Canada, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Italy, Taiwan, UK, USA and Dubai representing several closely related sectors, including: GAMING, AMUSEMENT, TOURISM, SECURITY & SURVEILLANCE, DIGITAL SIGNAGE, FOOD & BEVERAGE.
The leading manufacturers from Bulgaria Casino technology and Euro Games Technology, along with many other producers from all around the world demonstrated their latest products for gaming, amusement and entertainment centers, hotels and casinos. At the end of the first day of BEGE and EEGS there was held the official ceremony of the annual BEGE Awards, distinguishing persons and companies who contributed to the progress of the entertainment and gaming industry in the South-eastern Europe.
The organizers also presented Special Awards to several persons and companies for their merits and contribution to the gaming and entertainment industry in the region as well as Certificates of appreciation to companies who supported the ‘Responsible Gaming’ project in Bulgaria from the very beginning. The exhibitor list included companies from the gaming industry from Europe and USA: WMS, Alpha Game Technology, JCM, Casino Technology, JPL, Bell Fruit Group, EGT, Advansys, Alfastreet, Abbiati, FAZI, Admiral, GPI, Art Design, etc. The representatives from the Amusement sector included: SEGA, KB Distribution – official distributor of Roberto Sport for Bulgaria, Magic Coin, MicroIntellect, Jakar, Avant-X Technologies Alliance.
