 At the 5th official BEGE Awards ceremony, distinguishing persons and companies with special merits for gaming and amusement industry, both local and international were awarded the following:

Special awards were given to:

• PLANETA PAYNER – Special award for the Cross industry partnership for Planeta Payner Slots™;

• Bulgarian State Commission on Gambling – Diploma for technology initiative implementation of the project "Modern and efficient performance of state supervision over gaming through building an integrated information system, electronic records and e-Government". The project is implemented with the financial support of Operational Program "Administrative Capacity" (OPAC), co-financed by the EU through the European Social Fund.

BEGE Awards 2013 Criteria

Any company from the gaming, entertainment and leisure industry is entitled to nominate itself for the awards or to be nominated by a third party. To declare its intention to participate, the company must complete online application form in „Nomination entry form” section. Applications for participation in more than one category are permissible. Submissions will be accepted until September 30, 2013. All nominations will be considered in strict confidence.

The criteria are based on popularity, product positioning, innovation, use of new technologies and originality of solutions. Sales volume or specific contribution to the industry over the past 12 months, as well as the completeness of the application, shall also be taken into account during the assessment process.

All winners and participating companies will be announced at the official BEGE Awards 2013 ceremony, which will be held on the BEGE Expo organizers party on 22 October. Winner in a category can be more than one firm.
